Just Try It
"Hi Jamie! I have to tell you, my son attends New Brighton Elementary and had your presentation yesterday and it was so funny to hear him come home and talk about it. For a kid who “hates” lettuce and peppers, when I asked him what his favourite things were that he put in his pita were, his response was, “Salad and orange peppers; Miss Jamie said we had to try new things”. He also said, “Miss Jamie came to our school and made us delicious food”. He’s also not a fan of peanut butter but loved the Wow Butter. So glad that his school had the opportunity for you to come in. “
"Fantastic material and presenting. Meeting the needs of our Special Students is not always easy. You guys were great at connecting with our students, building rapport and relationships with them! Thank You for your wonderful program!"

"Our school serves a very broad range of diverse learners from 6 - 17 years and all our students loved Jamie's interactive presentation. They learned lots and really enjoyed making their pitas too! Jamie is very personable and was effective in connecting and communicating with all our kids. And lots of positive feedback from our staff too! Thanks Jamie!"
What did you like about the presentation? " Your ability to engage a group of over 40 Kindergarten students effectively and get them EXCITED about nutrition! Many parents commented at Parent Teacher conferences that their child came home and “taught them” all about the food groups and said they need to eat more fruits and vegetables. That is awesome!! "

"We had Jamie out to visit our 4 year old preschool classes. She was energetic, informative, organized, and her presentation was child-centered. The children were totally engaged for the entire time she was in our classroom. Jamie is simply amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed having her in our classroom."

“I just wanted to thank you for the great presentation Jamie did for my 3 kids in school, some 3 months ago. She really influenced them to eat better food and think what they want to eat. Amazing work Jamie. My kids loved her. So ever since her presentation we eat Byblos pita and naan bread daily. Hope Jamie will continue to teach all kids in Calgary on what is good for them.”
“My child attends Mount View School, and yesterday the Kindergarten class had a visitor to teach about nutrition. Thanks to Jamie and Byblos Bakery for the informative presentation and pitas for the class and their families. Thanks to the school for providing the healthy tasty fillings for the pitas. The children really enjoyed the pitas and our child enjoyed it so much, we did a repeat of the pita pockets for dinner, with the pitas he brought home from school. Guess what's for dinner again tonight? :)
Simple, tasty and healthy. Every parent's dream. And especially well received, I think, since it was introduced in the classroom and they experienced this positively as a group of peers.”
